January Events

January 1: HWC will be open from 7-11am.  No classes will be held.

January 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29: Free Fridays

January 1-31: HWC New Year’s Walking Path Challenge will take place during the month of January.  We want all walkers (members and non-members) to help us reach our goal of 1500 miles in 1 month.  Just add your laps and/or miles to the sheet on the walking path and watch the numbers grow!!

January 2: Extra Family Swim will be from 11am-4:45pm.

January 5, 12, 19, 26: Oil Painting Club meets. Call 327-2332 for more information.

January 16:  Oil Painting Workshop from 9am-4pm.  Cost is $30 and includes materials.  Please pre-register at the HWC front desk.

January 20: Facebook for Beginners will meet at 2pm in the Kropf Center at Hesston College.  Learn more about this social networking site and how to set up your own account.  Cost is $7 to participate.  Please pre-register at the HWC front desk.  Minimum of 8 participants is required.

January 28: Heritage Tours Travel Show will take place at 7pm in the Garden Level Room.  Learn more about the reasons to travel by motor coach and view their 2010 schedule.

December Events

December 9: Hospice Care 101 presentation at 1pm in the Garden Level Room.  This free lecture is open to all members of the community.  Come and learn more about Hospice Care and the services they provide.

December 16: Recycle Your Life presented by Bonnie Scheid at 10am.  Lecture and book signing will take place.  Find a new perspective on living your life.

December 19: Oil Painting Workshop from 9am-4pm.  Cost is $30 to participate.  Please pre-register at the front desk.  All materials provided.

December 20-24: $2 Day Passes

December 24: HWC will be open until Noon on Christmas Eve.  Morning classes will be held as usual.

December 25 & 26: HWC will be closed.

December 31: HWC will be open 5:30am-9pm and classes will be held as usual.

Extra Family Swims will be held on December 21, 22, 28, 29 & 31 from 2-5pm in addition to the regularly scheduled times.
